SOPHIA LA BELLE Brazilian Keratin Treatment is a permanent NON-CHEMICAL Reconditioning service that is offered at the Salon which should be called a Miracle for eliminating frizz, damages and split ends and giving the Health back to the Hair while adding Collagen, Nonoi the Oil from Tahiti island, and Argan Oil and all other Vitamins and Amino Acids for a shiny and smooth result. SOPHIA LA BELLE, keratin treatment in Washington DC, is proud to meet all of these needs in its keratin Collagen Treatments and also in all of its After Treatment products following the Industry standards.

Sophia La Belle has 3 level of Keratin Treatment line. For Maximum results, we recommend Shampoo hair in 24 hours for "Magique keratin treatment line", and 24 to 48 hours for "Miracle ULTRA keratin treatment line" and 1 Hour "Merveille keratin treatment line" after getting our keratin Collagen Treatments. NOTE: Number of days/hour depends on volume of curls, texture, and damage. Please ask your stylist regarding number of days.
SOPHIA LA BELLE generally recommends you color your hair before the treatment, or wait two weeks after treatment.
After getting the treatment and before the first shampoo: Do not Tie or wear your hair in a pony tail; Do not pin it back or wear it behind the ears either.
Avoid going to the gym or outdoor exercising before the first shampoo during those 1 to 2 days, due to sweating that Contains Sodium chloride and will affect the keratin molecules.
Avoid going to the pool , beach or any Showers up to the first shampoo and if your hair gets wet by any reason, immediately blow dry it first and follow by flat ironing the hair if necessary .You may cover your hair in a shower cap if needed.
SOPHIA LA BELLE Brazilian Keratin Treatment can be performed on highlighted hair, or immediately right after highlighted hair.
Avoid any hair products such as Hair Sprays, Gels or Mousse containing Alcohol, Sulfate & Sodium Chloride.
If you get ridges in your hair in the morning because of sleeping on it, Use either a blow drier or a flat iron to straighten those sections; although flat ironing the whole hair during these 1 to 2 days helps to seal the treatments well in the hair.
After the Treatments, Avoid doing any Color, highlight, perms or relaxer services on the treated hair up to 2 full weeks. Instead ,get those services BEFORE the treatment, as close to the service day as possible, even the same day; You may just need to do one clarifying shampoo to start your Keratin collagen Treatment not to remove any desired colors/toners.
SOPHIA LA BELLE Brazilian Keratin treatments can be done on any previously chemically treated or relaxed hair, sodium Hydroxide Thio Chemical, Japanese Straightening treated hair BUT only AFTER 2 WEEKS!
Avoid doing the service on any pregnant/breast feeding clients or by the stylist in the same situation. The Treatments can be done on Women and Men. Minimum age for the treatment is 8 years and up.
Over counter and other brand sulfate and sodium free products will offer different results. We strongly recommend SOPHIA LA BELLE after Treatment line of products for many reasons. The list includes but not limited to the facts that Sophia La Belle after treatment products are designed to maintain Brazilian Keratin treatment for much longer time (3-5 Months). They are all color protect, and UV protection ingredients also low in pH, Sulfate & sodium chloride FREE and formulated to maintain Our brand of Brazilian Keratin Collagen Treatment in hair long after the service.
You can get your hair trim or hair cut before or after treatment.
Although our treatments last 3 to 5 months, they can be done on a monthly basis or every 2 months to cover the new growth area as well. There is NO retouch application only, since the more you do this service, it seals into the hair more and more, so it will be done from roots to ends again each time. NOTE: Sophia La Belle treatments last 3-5 months depending on your active lifestyle, hair density, hair texture, condition of the hair, and use of ONLY Sophia La Belle after treatment products.

Brazilian Keratin Treatment (BKT) service MUST be purchased initially before call for an appointment.
2 1/2 hours time is allocated to perform your services, so it is strongly appreciated if you could arrive 10 minutes early. Since we are appointment based only it is not possible to accept short notice for cancelation, or rescheduling. A 15 minute delay will lead to cancelation and forfeiture. No exception.
We understand that emergencies happen, but your appointment date and time is being held exclusively for you, so we ask that you give us at least 72 hours notice of a schedule change.
Haircut/trim is available for additional $40. Subject to time availability at the time of service.

I had my brazilian keratin treatment about a week ago. It is my 1st and I can say it looks great. It was done by the stylist Faramand, he did an excellent job. I arrived before my appointment and he was nice enough to start me up.
